Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Trevor Snider ("we") collects through ApplauseWall and how we use it. Contact: support@applausewall.com.

What we collect

• Account holders: email address, a securely hashed password (we never store it in plain text), plan and billing status, and the spaces and settings you create.
• People who leave a testimonial: the name, title/company, star rating, testimonial text and optional photo link they enter, plus an optional email address that is never shown publicly.
• Technical data: IP addresses and basic request logs, used for security and rate limiting, and a login cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To run the Service: to log you in, show your testimonials where you choose, email you notifications and password reset links, process payments, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

• Stripe processes subscription payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare hosts the Service and its database.
• Resend sends our transactional emails.
• The public: approved testimonials are displayed on the business's wall page and website widget.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Businesses using ApplauseWall

For testimonials collected through a business's form, that business decides what is collected and published. To remove or change a testimonial, contact the business or email support@applausewall.com.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except where we must keep records (for example, billing records) by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to some processing. Email support@applausewall.com and we will respond within 30 days.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on our providers' standard contractual safeguards for these transfers.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will be emailed to account holders.
